Our stylishly furnished, modern vacation home is located in the quiet Kreuzberg neighborhood of Freyung—right at the gateway to the Bavarian Forest National Park. Enjoy the magnificent view of the tri-border region of Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria, and spend your vacation in an atmosphere that invites you to relax and unwind.
Whether as a couple, with your family, or together with your four-legged friend—you’ll find the perfect place here to leave everyday life behind and recharge your batteries. On our cozy terrace with a hot tub, you can unwind and enjoy the tranquility of nature. A separate, fenced-in dog run is available for your dogs, so your four-legged companions can also enjoy a carefree vacation. Hospitality is especially important to us. We want you to feel at home from the very first moment, and we’re happy to assist you with advice and support at any time during your stay.
The perfect location for nature and relaxation. Its quiet yet central location makes this vacation home the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, and numerous destinations in the Bavarian Forest. Well-marked hiking trails through forests, meadows, and fields begin right outside the front door. The center of Freyung, with its restaurants, cafés, and shopping options, is just a five-minute drive away. Lidl, a bakery, and other stores are only about three kilometers away. A bus stop is also within easy walking distance.

Stays are available for a minimum of 3 nights. For stays of fewer than 4 nights, an additional surcharge (cleaning fee) of €120.00 applies. The prices listed in the booking confirmation apply. You can find our cancellation policy for all vacation homes at here.
The holiday home is ready for occupancy from 3 pm on the day of arrival and departure must take place by 10 am. You will receive a numerical code before arrival, which you can use to enter your holiday home. At the welcome you will also receive a key, which must be returned at the end of your stay.

The Sonnenblume vacation home offers state-of-the-art amenities across a total of 200 square meters of living space. The vacation home features a dog run, making it ideal for dog owners.

This is a smoke-free home. Smoking is therefore not permitted indoors.
The house is divided into a ground floor and an upper floor. It features the following amenities:
Ground floor

- 3 double rooms with a double box-spring bed (180 cm), TV (SMART TV), and a closet
- 1 double room with a double box-spring bed (180 cm), en suite bathroom (sink, shower, and toilet), TV (SMART TV), and closet
- Separate bathroom with a sink and shower, as well as a washing machine, a makeup mirror, and a hair dryer
- Separate toilette

Approach
Coming from Regensburg or Munich, you can reach us by car via the A3 highway toward Passau, taking the Aicha v. Wald exit (Exit 114). Continue toward Freyung. At the roundabout, follow the signs for Grafenau—after the LIDL supermarket, about 500 meters further on (signs for Kreuzberg–Mauth), turn right. After about 2.5 km, you’ll see the beautiful radial-layout village of Kreuzberg on your left. Turn off here and, after the village square (Maypole), turn left. We’re the fourth house on the right (the front half of the house).
From Passau, take the B 12 toward Freyung. At the roundabout, follow the signs for Grafenau—after the LIDL supermarket, turn right after about 500 meters (signs for Kreuzberg–Mauth). After about 2.5 km, you’ll see the beautiful radial-layout village of Kreuzberg on your left. Turn off here and, after the village square (Maypole), turn left. It’s the fourth house on the right (the front half of the house).

It’s the fourth house on the right (the front half of the house).
